These terms apply when you install or use the Profit Otter app for Shopify. Profit Otter is provided by Rococo Digital Ltd, company number 11730116, 15 Old Printing House Square, Tarrant Street, Arundel, West Sussex, BN18 9JH (“we”, “us”).

1. The service

Profit Otter reads data from your Shopify store and shows estimates of your profit. We work hard to make the figures accurate, but they depend on the data in your store, such as product costs you enter, and on data from Shopify and other platforms.

2. Not financial or tax advice

Profit Otter is a management tool. It is not accounting, tax or financial advice and does not replace your accounts or your accountant.

3. Plans and billing

The Free plan costs nothing. The Pro plan is charged through Shopify’s billing at the price shown when you subscribe, with no limit on orders. You can cancel at any time by uninstalling the app; charges stop from that point. Shopify’s own terms apply to billing and refunds. We will give at least 30 days’ notice of any price change.

4. Your data

Your store data stays yours. We use it only to provide the service, as set out in our privacy policy.

5. Fair use

Please do not try to break, overload, copy or resell the service. We may suspend accounts that do.

6. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Otherwise, we are not liable for business decisions made using the figures, or for indirect loss such as lost profit, and our total liability is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

7. Changes and law

We may update these terms and will tell you about important changes. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Questions: support@profitotter.com.
