When can I install it?
Profit Otter is being built now and is due on the Shopify App Store in early 2027. Join the waitlist and we will email you once, when it is ready.
How is profit worked out?
Sales, minus product costs, payment fees, shipping, refunds, discounts and VAT, and then ad spend once you connect your ad accounts. You can open any figure to see the parts that make it up.
Where do product costs come from?
From the cost per item field you already have in Shopify. Profit Otter lists any products without a cost so your numbers are not flattered by gaps, and you can add costs in bulk or upload a spreadsheet.
Will the price go up as my store grows?
No. Pro is $19 a month whether you take 50 orders or 50,000. There are no order limits and no extra fees per order.
How do I cancel?
Billing runs through Shopify, so you can cancel any time by uninstalling the app. You are not charged again after that.
What happens to my store data?
We only read what we need to work out profit: orders, products, costs and refunds. We do not sell your data or use it to train AI. Read our privacy policy for the details.
